Maine
Consumer Directed Attendant Services (CDAS)
A 128th Legislature bill (HP1188/LD1708) was specifically introduced 'to allow qualifying Medicaid recipients to hire relatives and legal guardians' for CDAS, implying that under prior/current rules spouses and legal guardians are NOT eligible as paid CDAS attendants; this is a legislative record reference, not a confirmed DHHS policy statement.

Eligibility, dollar amounts, and application steps are set by the state and can change. Only Maine's own program can confirm eligibility. This is not an eligibility determination.
