Idaho
Idaho's family-caregiver-pay program was terminated.
Family Personal Care Services (FPCS), which had allowed a spouse or parent of a minor child to be a paid caregiver, was terminated by Idaho Dept. of Health & Welfare effective July 15, 2025. Re-confirmed live 2026-07-26 by direct quote from the official IDHW page: "The Family Personal Care Services (FPCS) program, which allowed a parent of a minor child or spouse to provide Personal Care Services and Attendant Care to eligible members has terminated effective July 15, 2025" and "Legally Responsible Individuals (LRI's) for members are no longer allowed to be the paid caregiver." Idaho's own DD-waiver self-direction program ("My Voice, My Choice") is confirmed DD-only, not available to the aging/A&D population.
Eligibility, dollar amounts, and application steps are set by the state and can change. Only Idaho's own program can confirm eligibility. This is not an eligibility determination.
